Welcome to EvoTab, a site dedicated to keeping tabs on all your favorite news sources!

I created this site as kind of a spiritual successor to the news side of GameTab (which I sold to Ziff Davis Media in August 2005). With that site I designed news tracking functionality in a way that was useful to my daily routine (and as it turned out, fortunately, others as well). But it's ultimately limited to gaming news, and has aged a bit over the years. The overall goal here is to build upon that basic design and cover other news categories (starting off w/ gaming of course!). Additional news categories (e.g., Tech) will be coming a bit later when any kinks in the backend have been worked out.

I'm not planning on expanding into other areas - just concentrating on news. In fact, I intended to call it EvoNews, but that was unavailable. So went with my ol' "tab" mainstay. Plus it happens to fit well with another site I have in progress called EvoTag. ;)
